Description
Join Teuscher Walpole, LLC as a Tax Intern! This part-time internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in taxation while working with a diverse client base. As a motivated and detail-oriented individual, you will collaborate with the tax team to assist in preparing tax returns, reviewing financial statements for accuracy, tax planning and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Work with the tax team to ensure various components of the tax process are performed, including tax preparation, tax planning, client interaction, and performing special tax projects.
  • Support in responding to tax authorities and resolving tax-related inquiries.
  • Collaborate with team members to analyze financial data and ensure accuracy in tax filings.
  • Prepare accounting-related reports through a paperless office environment.
  • Gather relevant tax-related information from the client so an accurate tax return can be prepared.
  • Attend professional development and training seminars on a regular basis.
  • Assist with Auditing, and Cost Segregation as needed.
Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting and income tax concepts.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
