Audit Intern – CPA Firm

Description
Join Teuscher Walpole, LLC as an Audit Intern! This part-time internship offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the world of taxation while working with a diverse client base. As a motivated and detail-oriented individual, you will collaborate with the audit team to review financial statements for inaccuracies and conduct tests of controls to ensure compliance with company policies.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Work with the audit team to perform reviews of financial statements for inaccuracies.
  • Support in performing tests of controls to ensure that company policies are being followed by staff members.
  • Assisting in field audits as needed.
  • Gather relevant audit-related information from the client so an accurate audit can be prepared.
  • Attend professional development and training seminars on a regular basis.
  • Assist with Tax and Cost Segregation as needed.
Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting and income tax concepts.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
