Tax Associate

Teuscher Walpole, a growing public accounting firm located in Draper, Utah, is seeking a Tax Associate. Our philosophy is to create and maintain an excellent work environment which encourages professional growth. Our staff is provided with specialized on the job training to help them be knowledgeable and able to add additional insight to the challenges. We are seeking a highly organized and dedicated candidate to join our team as a Staff Tax Accountant. The ideal candidate should possess strong organizational skills, a commitment to providing superior client service and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) as they will be responsible for maintaining client records and communications.

• Provide tax compliance and consulting to a diverse base of clients.
• Meet with business and community contacts to maintain and grow a network within the local market.
• Prepare accounting-related reports through a paperless office environment.
• Gather relevant tax-related information from the client so an accurate tax return can be prepared.
• Work with the tax team to ensure various components of the tax process are performed, including tax planning, client interaction, and performing special tax projects.
• Attend professional development and training seminars on a regular basis.
• Assist with Auditing, and Cost Segregation as needed.
